You Can’t Really Fail
Filed Under Law of Attraction |
Did you have a great day yesterday? Well, maybe you did and maybe you didn’t. Does that mean you failed? Not at all.
You know, as we wake up more and more to the reason we are on the planet, new dreams and goals occur to us. These are new paradigms. Well, if you’ve never been in that paradigm before, how could you possibly know how to operate there? It isn’t until you try things out, find out what doesn’t quite work to more clearly identify what does.
You never will and you never did fail. If you think you can’t sing, you are incorrect. In reality you have simply not yet learned to match what goes in your ear to what comes out your mouth. There is never failure.
Here’s what failure really is: doing your best based on what you know, to go beyond where you are now without the experience, skill, or infrastructure to accomplish the goal as you envisioned it. When you “fail,” you can either:
1. Be in the process of creating and clarifying a new paradigm by learning something new about yourself or life.
or
2. Think that you should never have even started, attempted, or wished for more.
or
3. Judge yourself for being a dummy.
We don’t go on the journey to get it perfect; we go on the journey for the joy of creation. Most creations are made because the predecessor was less effective. Does that mean that the rotary dial phones, the Model-T, and Fortran were failures?
You are doing a great job. It is part of human nature to want to expand, create, find more joy. In that process, a lot of the time you won’t know what the heck you are doing. Trust me, I got the t-shirt on this one. But it’s ok, you are not failing. You are expanding—if you just stop judging yourself and keep looking for what’s next!
Today, enjoy the journey!
