The One? Or The Clarifying One?
Filed Under Law of Attraction |
Yesterday I had a discussion with a woman about her relationships with men. She asked me how she could get rid of the confusion she had about finding someone special. My answer applies not only to finding “somone special” but also to finding a new job, friends, lovers, or work colleagues, so I thought I would share.
People, jobs, projects that come into your life are either what I call “THE ONE” or “THE CLARIFYING ONE.” Everyone does come into your life for a reason—but not for you to fix them. They come into your life because they are either the one you are looking for, or the one who will clarify more about the one you are looking for. If you can see your experiences that way, it will make life so much easier. Let me show you what I mean:
1. THE ONE—You know when something or someone is “it” when everything flows, solutions happen easily, joy is present, there is no struggle, serendipity occurs, and you feel supported and at peace when you think about it/them.
2. THE CLARIFYING ONE—Anyone or any event in your life that you struggle with is not quite perfectly in alignment: causes you to think, challenges you, or doesn’t quite go smoothly. Don’t attempt to change the clarifying one. That is not your job, for they are helping you clarify. And when you finally do get clear on what you want, either they will change and harmony will abound OR it will be time to move on! These people/situations are there so you know a little more of what you want and are clearer on what you don’t want.
By the way, you wouldn’t want your dream to come to you without being totally clear on the full picture, would you? It’s interesting how we like to be impatient when the clarifying ones come along, instead of choosing to simply be clearer.
The one and the clarifying one have equal benefit and contribute to you equally. See if you have been beating up on someone mentally for being the clarifying one—and then stop beating up on them. They are helping you, for goodness sake!
