Introducing the Periowave

We have recently acquired a laser light called Periowave. This new laser will help our hygiene team treat patients with periodontal disease.
Periowave is a technology that works to kill the bacteria associated with periodontal diseases, without the promotion of antibiotic resistance. Periowave utilizes a non-thermal laser combined with a photosensitizing solution designed to kill bacteria associated with the diseases. Killing the bacteria halts the progression of the disease and allows healing to begin.
Periowave is non-invasive, does not use antibiotics, and is comfortable. It can decrease periodontal pocketing.
