Does Your Dentist Offer Reflexology?
Filed Under Wellness Based Dentistry® |
We offer reflexology at our office in order to make your dental visit more comfortable.
What is reflexology?
Reflexology is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands with a premise that such work effects a physical change to the body. Reflexology is a natural healing therapy based on the principle that there are reflex points in the feet and hands that correspond to every part and organ of the human body.

This is wonderful. Reflexology is number one for pain and stress. How did you figure out to use reflexology? Do you know when the founder of zone therapy / reflexology: Dr. Fitzegerald taught reflexology he taught it to dentist, and chiropractors.? How are your clients reacting to this special service? Are you doing it before, after or while the client is being worked on? What is the clients respond to it? Do they feel more relaxed? Does anyone just use reflexology for pain? Is the reflexoloigst doing a regular session or pinpointing the session to the clients discomfort? I know this is a bunch of questions but you are the first ones I have heard using reflexology except in the old days. I would very much like some fed back on the advantages of adding reflexology to your sessions. Where are you located? I have been a reflexologist since 1992 in Arizona.
