Know Somebody Who Annoys You? Be Thankful!
Filed Under Law of Attraction |
I can think of one person in particular who just makes me twitch. It wasn’t until recently that I realized… it’s because that person is my teacher! I had forgotten! That person is a profound gift to remind me that life is not all about me. Life is about making a difference… and I get to bask in the love that life produces. I am so grateful for my teachers!
When someone complains that you didn’t do something well enough, it’s to show you not to take things personally. When you get cut off in traffic, you’re being shown that you need to slow down and enjoy the present. When someone is unappreciative, s/he is showing you that you’re not acknowledging yourself enough. When someone is negative, you get to see that you are blessed with the freedom to choose your own thoughts.
And of course, when someone like me says, “I just adore you!” it absolutely means that you must be adorable.
The more you allow yourself thoughts that complain about people who you perceive to limit your experience of joy, the more you will have a limited experience of joy. The more you realize that they came here as gifts to grant you freedom from those same limiting thoughts, the more grateful you will become (and of course, the less you will take them seriously).
