What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Today, many people are interested in more than the absence of disease, they are interested in wellness - optimal physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Chiropractic’s premise rests on the foundation that the ability to maintain health depends on the body’s continued ability to adapt to its environment. Chiropractic focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system (joints, bones and muscles) and the effects of these disorders on the nervous system and general health. Chiropractic is one of the largest primary-contact health care professions in North America. It is a regulated health profession recognized by statute in all American states.
Chiropractic is firmly grounded in science. Few other health care interventions have been assessed as extensively as chiropractic, both in terms of safety and effectiveness. There have been at least six formal government inquiries into chiropractic worldwide over the last 25 years and all have concluded that contemporary chiropractic care is safe, effective, and cost-effective and have recommended public funding for chiropractic services. In addition, there have been countless scientific clinical studies assessing the appropriateness, effectiveness, and/or cost-effectiveness of chiropractic care.

I have an advanced case of fibromyalgia, whereby necrosis has set in, which has now encroached on nerve endings, hence the pain can be significant to say the least. It is advanced!
Were it not for a consistent chropractic treatment protocol, I would not be able to carry out my schedule treating the sick, suffering and broken at our multi disciplinary clinic. These treatments have been invaluable to me.
I have determined that a carefully constructed chriropractic treatment protocol geared toward individual needs/requirements are of top priority when it comes to difficult cases of fibro and severl other conditions.
Chiro appears to not only be for the skeletal area of one’s body, but proves to encompass many other physiological facets of the body including fibromyalgia.
Thank you to all, who have studied this fine scientific art and continue to contribute to heal the sick. God bless your invaluable work.
